Episode 4 of Talking AALL podcast

The latest Talking AALL podcast features Dr Linda Banihashemi, a Mathematics Learning Advisor at the Australian Catholic University (ACU), where she supports healthcare students and pre-service teachers in developing strong numeracy and problem-solving skills.

In this episode, Linda talks about Smart Problem Solving, an ACU-based initiative run through the Academic Skills Unit that equips students with practical, AI-supported strategies for solving maths and numeracy problems with confidence. Funded by AALL, the pilot offering is a Canvas unit titled Numeracy for Teaching, designed for early-childhood and primary-education students and those brushing up for the LANTITE numeracy test.
