Recording now available for AALL Connect Inspire Share 2026 #1

In the first CIS session for 2026, Steve Campitelli from the University of Melbourne presented research conducted in 2025 on the provision of one-to-one (1–1) services across Australian Academic Language and Learning (ALL) teams. The session built on a statistical profile of the national 1–1 landscape and offered a comparative reflection on the value, role, identity, and ongoing importance of human Academic Skills Advisors, particularly in relation to services provided by generative AI platforms.

This presentation synthesised two conference papers from the 2025 AALL Conference, both of which generated significant discussion among delegates.
