Dear All

This is the last message about the NSW/ACT AALL meeting on 26 September. We are now bursting at the seams and unfortunately really cannot accept any more late acceptances (for catering purposes et al).

We are in the the Education Building, Manning Road, main campus (Camperdown). If you arrive around 10.00 come to Level 7, Room 722 for coffee. The day's proceedings will begin at 10.20 SHARP in Room 459 (Level 4 of the same building).

Directions for how to find us in the Education Building can be found on the University of Sydney campus maps as follows:

Maps are located at the major entry points to the campus. If you have to ask for directions, it’s better to ask for Manning House/Bar, which is next to the Education Building, rather than for the Education Building itself.

Parking
Pay and display ($24 per day) parking on Camperdown and Darlington campuses but this is very restricted due to major construction work on both campuses.

We would advise you to use public transport from Central station or taxi.

By public transport:

By train
Catch a train to Redfern station and then walk 15-20 minutes to the main campus. Then follow the crowd (i.e. turn left out of the station into Lawson St, left at Abercrombie St, right at Butlin Ave, then check a campus map).

OR

Catch a train to Central station and then take a bus (see below).

OR

By bus from the City
For stops on Parramatta Road (closest to the Quadrangle) catch routes 412, 413, 436, 437, 438, 440, 461, 480 from George Street or Railway Square (Central Station). Route 435 also stops at the University, but is a pre-pay service only (i.e. TravelTen or similar). Ask for the footbridge.
