new 'avoiding plagiarism' on-line module at UTS

this on-line module was developed by Liz Craven and colleagues from the UTS ELSSA Centre (www.elssa.uts.edu.au). The tutorial includes a 'test your understanding' quiz, but students can also be required to complete a test which is currently not publically available. To have a look, please go to:

great stuff on plagiarism

Congrats and thanks -- This is an excellent resource, thorough, easy to understand, and the examples are great -- those are what is most needed to make clear what is acceptable or unacceptable, and why. Is it going to continue to be available to the public, apart from the final test? Is it ok to link stuff on my unit's website to this resource?
Kate

thanks kate

yes, I see no reason why it shouldn't remain in the public domainn and as thuss can be linked and acknowledged. The 'real' test is, for obvious reasons, not public!

plag resource

I wonder whether it should be linked to the teaching part of the AALL website, to make it v easy to find, as the monash and other resources are?

Nice resource, Sasha! Thanks!

UTS Plagiarism Resource

This is a lovely resource. This week we are running a feature on referencing on our blog so I have linked it (many thanks for your generosity)!

If you have a look on here, there might be something you can use, too. One of my favs is Reporting the Ideas of Others - a 'Quick Click' developed by the LA Team at UniSA

Best of luck!
