The Academic Skills and Learning Centre at the Australian National University hosted a one-day Professional Development Day for Academic Language and Learning professionals.  The day was structured as a series of three facilitated discussions.

“Exemplifying 'Good Practice Principles': Case studies in academic literacy.” Department of Linguistics, Macquarie University, hosted the June AALL NSW/ACT Professional Development Day.

Good Practice Principles for English Language Proficiency for International Students in Australian Universities

Federal Minister for Education, Julia Gillard has approved the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) to release, for distribution, the report submitted by the AUQA steering committee:
