AALL has a project fund to which AALL members may apply to fund activities that further the goals of AALL. Non-members can be involved in projects, but the principal applicant of a grant must be a member of AALL.
The closing date for the first round of applications is 20 April, with successful applicants to be notified shortly thereafter.
If any of the AALL funding remains after the first round of applications, this will be advertised so that further applications can be made throughout the year.
Information for applicants
The John Grierson Grant, valued at up to $A 1000, has been set aside to assist with the costs involved in traveling to the AALL 2007 conference (or, if the successful applicant lives near the conference, it may be used to assist with other costs). Delegates who meet the conditions of application (below), and are prepared to contribute to the Conference (see Expectations, below) may apply.

The John Grierson Grant applications will be considered by a Committee of between 3 and 4 people, comprising the AALL Conference convener, a representative from the University of Western Sydney, and one other senior ALL representative. The committee will consider the applications on two key grounds: eligibility and the interest of the proposal for the ALL New Advisers' roundtable.
Applications must be received no later than 31 May 2007. Applications received after this date will not be considered.
Application will be considered by the John Grierson Grant Committee and the successful applicant will be notified by 29 June, 2007.
