An excellent opportunity exists at The University of New South Wales at the Australian Defence Force Academy for suitably experienced people for placement on an eligibility list for casual tutors in Academic Language and Learning for Sessions 1 and 2 in 2010.

Tutors are required to work in a one-on-one and small group tutorial settings with undergraduate and postgraduate students, both local and international, in a range of disciplines. To do this you will need practical experience of the requirements of academic writing in Australian tertiary institutions, a serviceable knowledge of recent work in English for Academic Purposes and its practical applications, and demonstrated communication and pedagogical skills appropriate for this work.
