The Sydney Institute of Business and Technology at Macquarie University is seeking Academic Literacy tutors to conduct tutorial sessions for students undertaking diploma level studies in Business Administration, Commerce, Arts, Computing, Media Studies and Computer Engineering (H.Ed diplomas are equivalent to first year of undergraduate degree study). Tutorials are 4-hours in duration. Applicants must have masters qualification in relevant area (e.g. Language and Literacy, Applied Linguistics, TESOL) and experience teaching Academic Literacy or Academic English. Remuneration is $100/hr for the first 4 hours and repeat tutorials in the same unit are paid at $65/hr.
